Following order confirmation, we will arrange for the bollards to be delivered directly to the intended location.

Once the bollards have arrived, a representative from our installation team will be touch to arrange an installation date that suits you.

What is included in the installation charge?

The installation includes the following:

Labour of 1-2 engineers
Cable Avoidance Tools (CAT) Scan to ensure there are no clashes with underground service routes
Complete bollard installation
Restore the final road surface, whether it be gravel, concrete or block paving
Remove and dispose of all waste and rubble

Can I ask for a specific date for installation?

You aren’t able to book specific slots through the website, but you can request a preference during the order process. Our team will do our best to accommodate this and will only carry out the installation on a date that suits you.

What happens if my installation can’t be completed on the day?

Whilst this is extremely rare, our installation team would secure the site and ensure it is safe. They will then return the next day to complete the installation.

What are the typical lead times for installation?

The typical installation lead time is 5-7 working days from ordering the bollards, if they are in stock. Bollards we typically have in stock are, the RT RD4, RT R8 and RT SS5.

If the bollards are made to order, the installation date will be dependant on the bollard lead time, which could be 2-4 weeks.

Once a bollard delivery date is determined, the installation can be arranged immediately.

Is a site visit necessary prior to fitting?

For a manual bollard installation a site visit is not required. Our team may request photos of the intended location or carry out a desktop survey through Google Street View.

For more complex installations or automatic bollard installs, we may request an on-site site survey or pre-start meeting.

Do you installations come with a warranty or guarantee?

Yes, our installations come with a 1 year installation warranty. By opting for an installation with Rhino Security, you can be sure that the job will be carried out correctly. Plus, we offer service packages to maintain the functionality of your bollard, ensuring it works efficiently.

I have an existing bollard that needs removing before the new one can be installed. Can you remove it?

Absolutely, we can remove an existing bollard. This is a very common occurrence as bollards are often damaged or haven’t been maintained for a number of years.

The installation prices quoted on our website are based on a new bollard install. If you require removal of an existing bollard, we will need to provide a separate quote. Please contact our team on 01603 484999.
