Treefo is a smart, simple way for businesses to support vital reforestation projects, and for customers to play their part in global climate action, just by leaving a review. Through our partnership with Feefo, who are working with Ecologi, every bit of customer feedback we receive now contributes to the planting of trees around the world. It’s a small step for each of us, but one that adds up to real, lasting change.
Let’s talk about Treefo, what it means, and how you’re helping us do our bit environmentally.
What is Treefo?
Treefo is a Feefo initiative. You may have heard of Feefo before (especially if you are an existing Rhino Security customer): it’s a rating and review platform that allows real customers to leave reliable reviews to benefit other customers and businesses. We use Feefo and value each and every review left by our clients.
In a drive to connect customer engagement with environmental responsibility, Feefo has partnered with Ecologi, a climate action platform dedicated to inspiring and empowering businesses to accelerate global climate action. The result of this is Treefo, a seamless, simple way for businesses to support reforestation efforts while encouraging that all-essential customer feedback.
How does Treefo work?
As Feefo says, using Treefo is as easy as one, two, tree. All customers need to do is leave a review in the same way they have before. Nothing changes for our bollard and street furniture clients, but with each bit of feedback, they’ll be contributing to reforesting the earth.
Here’s how it works for us: we make a commitment to Treefo by specifying how many trees we’d like to fund the planting of every month. We’re dedicated to the planet’s health, so we’ve pledged to fund 100 trees to be planted per month through Treefo. This amounts to a goal of 100 reviews each month, but even if we don’t get those reviews, we’ll fund the trees anyway. It’s our way of ensuring consistent, positive environmental impact, regardless of monthly feedback. That’s our promise.
Why are we using Treefo?
The team here at Rhino Security are dedicated to leaving the world a greener, healthier place for future generations. After searching for ways we could meet our environmental goals, we discovered Feefo’s Treefo feature.
Treefo gives us an opportunity to make our customer engagement more purposeful. Treefo’s broader impact
Treefo supports tree-planting projects in ecologically vital locations such as Madagascar, Kenya, and Mozambique. So far, the initiative has led to the planting of over 126,500 trees. These projects help restore mangroves, rehabilitate degraded forests, support biodiversity, and benefit local communities economically and socially. We could not be more proud to help support these essential projects through our monthly funding.
These reforestation efforts are part of Feefo’s partnership with Ecologi, which tracks and verifies the environmental impact of its funded projects. The transparency and measurable outcomes make it easier for companies like ours to participate in climate action with confidence.
