Warranty for Rhino Manual Telescopic Bollards

This warranty applies only to the following Rhino manual telescopic bollard models: RT R8, RT RD4, RT RD4SS, RT SQ8, RT SS5, RT R14, and RT SU5.

 

Rhino Security guarantees that these bollards are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 (twelve) calendar months from the date of purchase, provided they are properly used, cared for, and maintained.

This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and excludes any damage caused by:

  • Accidents or misuse
  • Abuse or neglect
  • Improper installation by anyone other than Rhino-approved installers

Please note: The locking mechanism is not covered under this warranty. It is subject to user handling, external conditions, and requires regular maintenance, all of which are beyond the manufacturer’s control.

 

Important Maintenance Notes

To ensure the longevity and correct operation of your Rhino bollard, please follow these guidelines:

  • Always lower the post gently into the ground – do not drop it from its full height.
  • Lubricate the locking mechanism periodically using a light lubricant such as Ambersil 40+ or WD40 Silicone Spray.
  • Keep the lid hinges clear of debris to ensure they open fully before raising the post.
